Easy Rider charges a base fare of $0.75 per trip with free transfers. For your convenience, we offer discount passes for students, elderly persons, persons on Medicare and persons with disabilities. The following is a full listing of current fares and pass costs:
Note: Please have the correct fare ready before boarding. Drivers do not give change. A change card can be issued to be used for future trips.

30-Day passes may be purchased at the Easy Rider office. A 30-day pass entitles the purchaser to unlimited rides for 30 days from the day the pass is first used.

Day passes may be purchased on each bus for $1.75 that entitles the purchaser to unlimited rides on the day the pass is bought. Day passes are not valid after bus service ends that day.
Passengers with disabilities who do not possess a valid Medicare card who wish to qualify for reduced fare must complete an application available at MOVTA’s office or click here to download a copy of the application
Free transfers are available on each bus for any passenger that will need to transfer to another bus to get to their destination. Transfers will not be accepted for return trips and will not be accepted on the route on which they were issued. Transfers are valid at the Transit Center only. Passengers needing a transfer must request it from the driver upon boarding the first bus.
During the summer months, any student presenting a valid pool pass (City Park, Jackson Park Pool and Southwood Park only) is permitted to ride to and from the pool free of charge. Adults traveling with the student are required to pay normal fare.
