Change of Rayon/Nicelyville Service
The Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority (MOVTA) located at 520 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, WV in Wood County, is encouraging public comment regarding the combining of the Rayon and Nicelyville routes.
This change in service would include combining the Nicelyville and Rayon routes. Two buses will provide the new combined service with one bus departing at both the top and bottom of each hour. All areas along both the current routes will still be serviced by this change. For more details on the proposal, please visit our office located at 520 Juliana Street, Parkersburg. Office hours are 8:30am-4:30pm. We are closed from 12:00pm-1:00pm for lunch.
The public comment period will run from May 1, 2019 to May 31, 2019. A public comment session will take place on June 3, 2019 from 1pm-2pm in the conference room located at 520 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, WV. MOVTA also invites written comments on the proposed project by sending all comments to the following:

The Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority is now accepting applications for the position of Fueler/Washer. This is a full-time position. Please visit our office at 520 Juliana Street to apply. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Closed 12:00pm-1:00pm for lunch.
Congratulations to Robert Tanner. He has been named the Assistant General Manager of the Mid-Ohio Valley Trait Authority. Starting as a driver in 1991 he accumulated 20 years of safe driving before becoming the Certified Safety and Security Officer. Robert has has been employed with the Authority for 28 years. He will continue to serve as the CSSO.
Beginning with the April 23, 2019, meeting, all board meetings will be moved to 6:15 pm. All meetings are open to the public.
